If you’re looking for a Disney resort that feels like more than just a place to sleep after the parks, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is one I’ll always recommend. This Disney Deluxe Resort is such a different experience compared to the rest of Disney property and honestly feels like a luxury getaway inside Disney World.

There is just something about waking up in the morning, grabbing your coffee, walking out onto your balcony, and seeing giraffes, zebras, and other animals right outside your room. It never gets old and truly makes this resort feel so special. It’s one of those experiences that you really can’t explain until you stay there yourself.

One of my favorite things about Animal Kingdom Lodge is how peaceful it feels. After long park days, coming back to this resort just feels relaxing. The lobby is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is calm, and it feels tucked away from all the chaos while still being in Disney.

The zero depth entry pools are another thing I love here. Whether you want a pool day or just a break in the middle of your trip, the pool areas really fit the relaxing luxury vibe of this resort.

And the dining here is honestly some of the best on Disney property.
Boma for breakfast is always a must for me. There are so many options and it’s one of those breakfasts where everyone can find something they love.

Then there’s Sanaa for dinner which is one of my favorite dining experiences at Disney. The food is amazing and the atmosphere just makes it feel even more special.
The only thing to know before booking is that transportation to the parks is by bus only. There’s no monorail or Skyliner access here, but honestly the resort itself makes up for that.

Animal Kingdom Lodge feels like a destination all on its own and is one of those resorts where you actually want to spend time enjoying the hotel instead of rushing out the door every morning.
If you’re wanting a Disney stay that feels relaxing, unique, and luxurious all at the same time, Animal Kingdom Lodge absolutely deserves to be on your list and don’t forget to book with an All In Vacay agent!
